Okay...I've been swamped with senior stuff...
I would have posted this already if it hadn't been for that...
FCN:
To start off, FCN rocked! Best con I've ever been to, and one of the best to go to if you've never been to a con. Seriously, it is amazing. Met more furs than I can remember...and got more hugs that I can remember. ^_^
And a big thank you goes out to Sufi, Lucky Coyote, and Skuff Coyote for being the best roomies ever. ^_^ You guys were a big reason this con was so awesome for me.
All-State Choir:
Seeing as there's no rest for a talented fur, two days after coming back from FCN, I had to leave for Nashville for the All-State of Tennessee Choir workshop and performance. Thank God I didn't have con crud to mess with my voice. X_X
Overall, the workshop was a bunch of hard work with long hours of singing, but it was worth it. Our men's chorus sounded like a dream. You can't imagine what a joy it is to be singing with 80 of the best male voices in Tennessee. ^o^ Plus we were going to be the debut choir of "At the Round Earth's Imagined Corners", composed by our conductor Rene Claussen. ^_^
The concert was fabulous, with our choir getting two standing ovations for our performance. ^_^ Amazing! Plus I had dinner with my cousins, so it was a great end to a wonderful week and weekend. ^_^
On the downside though, I got really sick coming back and stayed sick for the rest of the weekend...Con crud plus choir crud...no fun. X_X
Prom:
Now this was more fun than ever...
One: I got to take one of the prettiest seniors to prom.
Two: It was held at an amazing place...a beautiful country club that is the exculsive playground of the rich...^_^
And three: I got to breakdance!
Last year, I did breakdancing just for fun, and it caused a big stir among everyone, but not many people got pictures because it was really improptu.
This year, everyone turned it into a big event. When it was announced that I was gonna be breakdancing, everyone made a huge circle around the dance floor, cameras at the ready. ^_^ And then I started dancing.
You would not believe the response. Everyone was cheering when I would do a great move, but there were isolated cheers from all over. And then, when I started getting into it, I motioned for the crowd to clap on beat. Everyone started up and kept going until I quit dancing...I had them in the palm of my paw. ^_^
After I nearly pulled a muscle in my stomach on a Matrix style leanback, I decided it was time to quit and exited the dance floor to thunderous cheers and applause. ^_^ Got lots hi5s and hugs and then watched videos of me on the dance floor. ^_^ I'll put them up here once the guys who were videoing it send them to me.
All in all, an amazing senior prom and something I'll never forget.
Well that's it,
Blackie out.
*big hugs to y'all*
